Highly recommend Avila's Painting. They painted the interior and exterior of our house (on two separate occasions), giving our home a much needed makeover.

About 3-4 years ago, I originally found Efren through a Craigslist add while looking for a painter. We wanted to have the interior of our house painted. Efren was very quick to respond to my emails and we soon set up an appointment for him to come give us a quote. He arrived promptly for our appointment and was very professional. He answered all the questions we had and gave us his recommendations on choosing the appropriate paint. The price he quoted us was reasonable. We got a few other quotes from other painters and decided to go with Mach 5. On the day of the job, Efren and Danny were on time, courteous and very professional. They painted the interior of our home in 1 day and did a fantastic job. They were careful not to get paint on any surfaces other than the walls and did a very good clean-up job too.

Fast forward to a month ago, I contacted Efren again to see if he could help us paint the exterior of our house. After all the years, he still remembered us as a past client. He came to give us a quote a few days after we set up the appointment (also still remembering our address). Since we trusted Mach 5 and already knew the quality of their work, we decided to go with them again after the quote. In the weeks between, I texted Efren to ask questions about types of exterior paint. He was always quick to respond, which was much appreciated.  

A week before our paint date, I texted Efren the specific colors we picked for our house. He had already determined the paint quantities during the quotation. When the big day came,  it only took 10 hours for Efren and Danny to power-wash, scrape off the old paint, spray paint our old metal gate, prime the house and paint the exterior before the sun went down. These guys work diligently, efficiently and quickly without compromising quality. We are so happy with the paint job and how our house looks now. We already got compliments from our neighbors.
Overall, very satisfied with Avila's Painting. We will hire them again in the future when we need any painting done. Thank you for providing outstanding service!

I've been very impressed with Efren and Avilas Painting. I first found Efren doing an online search and didn't know what to expect, but I have now used him 6 or 7 times on some pretty big jobs (complete interiors and exteriors) and his work has been phenomenal. He is ALWAYS on time to meet me to give a bid and his bids seem to always come in below others I have gotten. I have since stopped getting 2nd and 3rd bids, because I can rest assured that his prices are the best around. The work he does is VERY clean... you won't see any drips or messes and his prep work is awesome. I just texted him Thursday to do a job and he was able to squeeze it in on Tuesday morning and was complete by 6pm. Would highly recommend to anyone!!!.

Efren and his associate painted the interior of our condominium and our new roof deck at the beginning of this year.  I found Avilas Painting after an online search and wasn't really sure what to expect.  Once the work was done I was so happy and felt very lucky that I had come across this reference.  Efren answered my request for an estimate immediately and then came to San Francisco to give me an estimate which was a very fair price for the work that needed to be done.  Once the work was completed I was really pleased with the clearly professional job that had been done.  Efren and his associate showed up on time, completed the work in the amount of time they said it would take, and were very neat and tidy while the work was in progress.  On top of everything else they were extremely respectful and polite.  I would not hesitate to ask them to do another job for me and I wholeheartedly recommend Avilas Painting.

We had Efren paint our interior of our new home. It took several coats to cover the old dark colors the previous owner had. He did a thorough job. He covered all fixtures and removed faceplates. We have been in the house several months and have been very pleased. 
I also had him paint a rental for me. He did a great job there as well.
He is reasonably priced. I would recommend him.

Efren and his companion are artists. They are punctual and deliver. They painted the upstairs and will do the downstairs. First, I thought I could do it myself but honestly there is a difference. You pay for the quality. Their bid was not as expensive as some others. Glad we choose Avilaspainting
